HOUSEKEEPERS
 

Housekeepers are responsible for the overall and thorough cleaning and organization of a home.  Live-in and Live- out employees are available to meet a client's needs and schedule.   

 

Part time Housekeepers typically perform lighter standard cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the home.  They also thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry room areas.

 

Full time Housekeepers perform household cleaning duties mentioned above in addition to doing laundry, dishes, making beds, changing linens, cleaning windows, blinds, and fixtures. These employees are also available for additional specific requests or projects that pertain to a family's needs, such as cleaning and organizing closets, waxing floors, or cooking and food preparation.

 

PERSONAL ASSISTANTS

A Personal Assistant is responsible for working closely with the employer in the management of their household and offering personalized support to a family. They attend to both personal and professional needs.  These individuals have direct experience working within administrative support or have had previous family household experience.  They typically exhibit strong computer, personnel, and clerical skills. 

Responsibilities often include making travel arrangements, organizing events and parties, running errands, making reservations, making and managing calendar schedules, placing orders, answering and returning calls, etc.

HOUSE / ESTATE MANAGERS

House Managers are employees experienced in running a household without supervision.  These individuals are responsible for the care, operation, and services of an estate or household.  They manage the current employed staff, hire and train new staff as necessary, schedule and supervise repairs, and provide on-going services to an entire property.  They can also provide personal assistant duties in addition to managing financial accounts as necessary.  Job descriptions and salaries vary per position.

 

 

HOUSEHOLD HELPERS

 

These employees are typically hired part-time for only 10-20 hours a week by families needing an extra hand around the house for organization and various projects.  For example, they can help you clean up and organize closets, assist with decorating, pack and unpack belongings, put away kitchen dishes and linens, or file paperwork and receipts in the home.  Household helpers also anticipate hourly wages that are extremely reasonable.
